How do I get a custom color for my logo backings?

Accepted Answer

Send an email to info@b-a-designs.com along with your purchase order number and name. Please send reference pictures (preferably in sunlight) to give us a better grasp on color matching.

Do not send color codes or the pigment names from your vehicle manufacturer. If you want to paint the backings yourself add a comment to your order at purchase (*Special Instructions).

Do I have to pay shipping fees If I'm a local and can pick up my products in person? How do I pick up in person?

You will not have to pay shipping & handling if you are a SoCal Local and willing to meet in person. We would love you meet our supporters!

Will I really have to drill and tap my roof?

Accepted Answer

Yes & No

Our B.A.D. Roof Racks bolt right up to the manufaturers stock mounting points. The vehicles without factory mounting you will have to drill and tap for maximum rigitity. Don't be afraid! Just be sure to use a high strength and water proof sealer. If you have stock mounting points and recieved threaded rivets, please refer to your instructions, you will need to drill and tap.

Example 1: 4Runner owners have 4 stock mounting points, 2 in the rear and 2 before the OEM sunroof. There are zero mounting points near the windshield.

Example 2: Subaru Outback owners have 16 holes. That's right, holes; thread rivets are a must, but don't worry! We'll provide detailed installation instructions and videos.

These racks require modifications, failure to properly bolt down your roof rack can lead to expensive damages to your accessories and vehicle.
